This makes me think a lot…I love death metal because it has interesting techniques and a particular way of expressing emotions so it kind of generates rejection, on purpose.
What I like about the lyrics is the complexity and the zero hypocrisy, but actually I am not an angry person at all.
When something goes wrong I tend to feel either really sad or in that bitchin mood like “you can’t beat me anyway”. So, I mostly just admire the lyrical content but don’t relate to it.Anyway, I also think that sleaze metal has a bunch of angry music too, it’s just a different sound.
